Diagnosis
Vertex smooth and shiny; eyes small; mesoscutum and scutellum metallic dark purple; mesoscutum with raised, large-meshed and strong reticulation, scutellum smooth and shiny; male flagellum with 2-segmented clava. Similar to caperatus but eyes smaller, vertex predominantly smooth, median carina on propodeum wider, and 1st gastral tergite reticulate posteromedially.
